Cool Space Locator is a non-profit real estate organization that connects neighborhoods, properties, and businesses in the revitalization of urban communities.

Why?
When founders Kyra Straussman and Deborah Baron decided to move the operations of Cool Space Locator out of the South Side Local Development Company where they had been working together in a cramped office space, they became their own clients. Kyra and Deborah had shown the former Broz's Market in Lawrenceville to a client, and saw the space's potential (even though that client did not). They worked with building owner Joe Edelstein and architect Paul Rosenblatt to create a space that demonstrated the CSL brand.

What Else?
The space was given a new life with colorful coats of paint, restored hardwood floors and marble fireplace, and lots of natural light; plus, the expansion allowed Cool Space Locator to hire additional staff. With two residential apartments above, Cool Space Locator was proud to be working in a walkable, mixed-use community - in a space that they could finally call their own!
