Gary Jay Saulson
Gary Jay Saulson is Director of Corporate Real Estate for The PNC Financial Services Group. In addition, he leads PNC's Realty Services business unit. He is responsible for all of PNC's non-lending real estate functions, including the management of all owned and leased properties, construction and development projects, as well as PNC's Aviation department.
Saulson is responsible for developing and implementing occupancy and ownership strategies for all PNC real estate. This includes both owned and leased, as well as foreclosed OREO (Other Real Estate Owned) and residential properties and commercial assets.
Construction projects completed under Saulson include the 650,000 sq. ft. PNC Firstside Center in Pittsburgh, which is one of the largest certified green buildings in the world; the 441,000 sq. ft. Eastwick Operations Center in Philadelphia; the 85,000 sq. ft. BlackRock Building in Wilmington, Del.; and the 113,000 sq. ft. world headquarters building for PFPC, PNC's Mutual Fund Servicing Company, in Wilmington, Del., which is Delaware's first certified green building and is certified as a gold building under the United States Green Building Council's LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Program. PNC's Firstside Center has been highly recognized and has won over 20 awards. PNC also built the first green bank branches in the country, and is now in the process of designing a new prototype.
Saulson is a graduate of the George Washington University, Washington D.C., and is a frequent speaker throughout the country on green building and design.
