Elliance
Strip District
A web-site design company located in the Cigar Factory at 2740 Smallman Street. The original character of the building is retained through dramatic high ceilings, exposed beams, bricks and ductwork; the kitchen is located in the former loading dock of the former Cigar Factory. (Note that Elliance has grown and moved to a new location at 600 River Avenue on the Northside, which has much of the same character - openness, exposed brick walls, color - as their former space.) |

Engine House No. 25
Lawrenceville
A former fire house, now the location of Rieder Photography and Digital Color Imaging at 3339 Penn Avenue. The original iron pole used by firefighters is still in place; during renovations of the building, workers would often slide down the pole since it was much faster than using the stairs! |
